They come from North Sweden and were handcrafted in the early - late 1800s

They come in several different shapes with 4 or 6 legs and make a lovely design statement in your living room or bedroom.

They are also supremely comfortable and perfect for nursing mothers with the extra wide 70cm seat

We specialise in 6 legged 'Gungstol' painted rocking chairs - these were made from the mid 1800s to the early 1900s and were traditionally they would be black with gold motifs but we have them in a variety of colours.
